Tsunami was sewn in response to the great tidal wave and disaster of December, 2004. It rolled upon the beaches killing hundreds of thousands in the middle of a beautiful, sunny day. Here is the seafloor heaving and wrenching the tectonic plates; here is the towering wave moving quickly away from the epicenter; here is the clear sunshine. Out of view is the havoc soon to come.

The autumnal colors in Wraith are dry and dusty, yet light to medium in value. A wraith is the spirit of the newly dead believed by some to linger for a bit near its once living body. Light, dry, weightless as I imagine this being, it poses no threat, but is wistful for the company of the living creatures it once knew. It departs like smoke or mist.
